Socorro Neri secures R$ 2.7 million for Acre hemodialysis service

Federal Deputy Socorro Neri has secured R$ 2.7 million in parliamentary amendments to establish a hemodialysis service in the interior of Acre. The initiative aims to serve the municipalities of Tarauacá, Feijó, and Jordão.

The new service is intended to assist patients with chronic kidney disease who currently face long travel distances for regular treatment sessions. Neri met with State Health Secretary José Bestene to advance the implementation, noting that the funds are expected to be released within the current year. To ensure the sustainability of the service, the deputy has committed to allocating annual resources for its ongoing maintenance.
