Socorro prepares to implement Inclusive Employability Hub

The City of Socorro, through its Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development, is preparing to implement the Inclusive Employability Hub (PEI). An introductory lecture is scheduled for September 21 at the Paço Municipal to present the program to both the general public and local businesses.

The initiative follows a commitment agreement between the City Hall and the program, supported by the Municipal Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (COMDEF). The PEI is part of the 'Meu Emprego Inclusivo' program from the Government of the State of São Paulo and utilizes the Supported Employment methodology.

The program aims to assist persons with disabilities aged 16 and older in their professional integration. Services include candidate identification, technical qualification, and job placement, while providing support to companies through human resources guidance and inclusion monitoring.
