Socure integrates AI identity verification into Circle’s Arc Onramp
Socure has integrated its AI-driven RiskOS platform into Circle’s Arc Onramp to provide identity verification and fraud prevention. The integration facilitates the process of converting fiat currency into USDC within applications built on the Arc blockchain.
To maintain privacy and comply with regulations, the identity verification process occurs off-chain. Socure’s software evaluates risk signals—including identity proofing and behavioral biometrics—and passes only the resulting verdict to the Arc network, ensuring sensitive personal data is not recorded on the public ledger. This architecture is designed to support institutional users and developers by embedding compliance directly into the settlement flow.
Circle’s Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for financial markets and real-time money movement. The network uses USDC for transaction fees and provides sub-second settlement. Socure’s role as a Day 1 launch partner aims to bridge the gap between traditional financial compliance and blockchain settlement, allowing institutions to manage KYC and AML requirements during the onboarding phase.
