Socure reaches $5.2B valuation with $156M funding and Fravity acquisition
Socure, an identity verification and risk intelligence provider, has reached a $5.2 billion valuation following a $156 million strategic growth investment. The funding round was led by Summit Partners, with participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Wells Fargo, and DocuSign.
As part of this expansion, Socure is acquiring Fravity, an Austin-based agentic AI startup. The acquisition aims to automate labor-intensive fraud investigation tasks, such as watchlist screening and document retrieval. Fravity’s technology will be integrated into Socure’s RiskOS platform as ‘RiskOS_Agents’ to assist analysts with manual case reviews.
Socure reported significant growth, ending the second quarter with $364 million in annual recurring revenue, a 63% increase from the previous year. The company currently serves over 3,000 enterprise and government customers, including 19 of the 20 largest banks in the United States.
