SODAM launches new term in Edirne for women's empowerment

The Edirne Social Solidarity Center (SODAM) has launched its new educational term under the theme ‘One Woman, a Thousand Hopes.’ The opening ceremony included speeches, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a musical performance by the Sevgili Günebakanlar Group, a musical ensemble composed of women.

Attendees included local officials such as Canan Sezer, AK Party Edirne Deputy Fatma Aksal, and Deputy Governor Güher Sinem Büyüknalçacı. The program aimed to highlight the center's role in enhancing women's professional skills, increasing self-confidence, and strengthening their participation in social and economic life.

Tezcan Fidan, Manager of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation, stated that the center provides more than just vocational training; it offers opportunities for personal development and helps participants contribute to their family budgets. Deputy Governor Büyüknalçacı emphasized that providing such opportunities can change the future of an entire generation.
