Sodankylä Horse Racing Results – Winners Across Multiple Heats

The STT Sodankylä horse racing event held on 27 June featured several heats and finals across trotting (Toto) and speed (lv) distances. In the 1040 m trot, Aarteen Launo/Iines Kassinen finished first with a time of 2:30, followed by Olaf (2:32) and Jokimäen Omena (2:53). The 2040 m trot final saw Miss Vanjie*/Hemmi Salminen win in 17.5 seconds, with I Like Speed and Look Away taking second and third. In the 2040 m speed (sh) race, Käskynhaltija/Mikael Niva led with 33.6 seconds, ahead of Loisto‑Apassi (34.6) and Stydi (34.1). The 2060 m speed heat was topped by Grand Rally/Markku Ranta (18.1 seconds), followed by Global Freedom and Mandy Model. Additional trotting heats recorded wins for Windy Elation/Leif A Flink, Backwood's Camilla*/Hannu Keskitalo, Brolle F./Maiju Leppäjärvi, and Soman Rincessa/Ville Nisonen in their respective categories. The event also included a team competition, the Pohjola Monté Cup & Equinetex Riders, where Utamaro Kemp/Maiju Leppäjärvi placed first.
