SODIBO and SOLIBRA launch youth talent and innovation initiatives

In Burkina Faso, SODIBO and Ebonny Group held the fourth edition of Guinness Summer Vibrations in Ouagadougou on October 2 and 3, 2026. The initiative aims to recognize and support young Burkinabè talents across various sectors, including music, fashion, cinema, photography, and entrepreneurship. Amadou Kaboré, SODIBO’s strategic marketing division head, stated the goal is to motivate youth to excel in their respective fields by highlighting those who may not typically receive mainstream attention.

In Côte d’Ivoire, SOLIBRA has launched the first National Sustainable Innovation Contest (CNID) in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Transition. The competition offers 10 million FCFA to support young innovators aged 18 to 40 who are developing solutions for waste management, circular economy, clean energy, and biodiversity preservation. SOLIBRA CEO Marc Pozmentier noted that the funding is a reinvestment of the company’s 2025 national excellence prize for eco-citizenship. The program will provide technical and entrepreneurial support to selected projects, with top winners receiving cash prizes and six months of follow-up.
