Bank Jateng Friendship Run and Jenius social initiatives held in Indonesia

Various sporting events and corporate collaborations are taking place across Indonesia. In Semarang, approximately 1,100 participants joined the Bank Jateng Friendship Run, a 5K event serving as a warm-up for the upcoming Borobudur Marathon 2026. The event, attended by Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi, also featured local MSME stalls to boost the regional economy.

In Bandung, Jenius by SMBC Indonesia partnered with Make-A-Wish Indonesia during the Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2026. Through the ‘Lari Lebih Berarti’ program, participants contribute to fulfilling the dreams of children with critical illnesses. Jenius also highlighted its digital banking features, such as Dream Saver and Flexi Saver, to assist runners with financial planning for race-related expenses.
