Sofía and Blandino celebrate major corporate anniversaries

Sofía Ltda. celebrated its 50th anniversary in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Founded on September 27, 1976, by Mario Anglarill Salvatierra and Maida Serrate Arredondo as a poultry venture, the company has grown to operate nationwide. Today, it employs over 3,000 people directly and approximately 30,000 indirectly through its value chain, offering a portfolio of more than 500 products. The company maintains international standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certifications.

In the Dominican Republic, Funeraria Blandino marked 95 years of operation. The company, which originated from a small shop in Baní before moving to Santo Domingo, held a commemorative event titled ‘Nuestra historia, nuestro legado y el futuro que continuamos escribiendo’. Virginia Arredondo, president of the Board of Directors, highlighted the company's history of serving local and international families and its evolution through various family leadership stages.
