SOFEX 2026 exhibition showcases advanced defense technologies and Jordanian solutions

The SOFEX 2026 exhibition is featuring advanced defense products and technological solutions, including developments in cybersecurity, virtual reality, aircraft, and drone systems. Engineer Moataz Ghazi Al-Atin, spokesperson for the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB), noted that Jordan has developed sophisticated solutions to address border challenges faced by the armed forces, which he described as among the best in the region.

The event includes participation from over 400 official delegations representing 75 countries. This international presence is intended to promote Jordanian defense industries, facilitate technology transfer, and foster partnerships with global militaries and defense companies. Several agreements are expected to be signed on the sidelines of the exhibition to enhance national defense industry cooperation.
