SoFi offers up to $735 bonus for new accounts and $100,000 sweepstakes

Social Finance LLC (SoFi) announced a promotional bonus for new checking and savings accounts. Customers who open a new SoFi Checking & Savings account and make a qualifying direct deposit within 30 days can receive a total bonus of up to $735, split as $400 from SoFi and $335 from partner Swagbucks, plus a $25 referral credit. Swagbucks also adds $10 for opening the account and $325 for meeting the deposit requirement. Partner Rakuten offers an additional $300 cash‑back or 30,000 points for sign‑ups through its link with a minimum $500 deposit.

In a separate promotion, SoFi is running a "Down with Debt" sweepstakes. Participants who check their personal‑loan rate on SoFi’s website, or mail a handwritten entry, are entered for a chance to win a $100,000 cash prize. The contest is open to legal U.S. residents aged 18 or older, allows only one entry per person, and the entry deadline is August 17 2026.
