SOFI TUKKER to Play One‑Off Show in São Paulo Ahead of Rock in Rio

Electronic duo SOFI TUKKER announced a one‑off concert in São Paulo on 5 September, the night before their appearance at Rock in Rio. The show will be part of the Tangerica party at Sonora Garden in the Canindé district and will feature Brazilian DJs and producers MLQ 2N, kLap and Donaflor.

The performance marks the duo’s first appearance in the city in seven years and coincides with the promotion of their new track “COOK,” a collaboration with J Balvin that signals the start of a partnership with Republic Records. Tickets are sold through Gandaya.

The event highlights SOFI TUKKER’s long‑standing connection to Brazil, stemming from Sophie Hawley‑Weld’s youth spent in the country and the duo’s frequent incorporation of Portuguese lyrics and Brazilian musical influences.
