Sofia Barberi, 23, died after a motorcycle crash in Ceriale, Italy, on Saturday night. Passenger Emma Brasca survived the accident but suffered severe injuries, including the amputation of a foot, and was admitted to Santa Corona Hospital in Pietra Ligure.

From her hospital bed, Brasca posted a heartfelt letter on Instagram, describing Barberi as "the light at the end of the darkness" and expressing deep love and grief. She wrote, “I continue to look for you… you are still with me in every gesture, in every wind,” and reflected on the sudden loss of the friendship they had shared.

The tribute, which also highlighted Barberi’s upcoming 23rd birthday and their future plans, quickly spread on social media, drawing attention to the personal tragedy of the crash.
