Sofia Book Alley festival to host literary events and book premieres

The Sofia Book Alley festival will take place from September 7 to 13 on Vitosha Boulevard and in the park in front of the National Palace of Culture. The event features over 150 publishing houses and a diverse cultural program including book premieres, literary discussions, and meetings with authors.

Among the scheduled activities is a pre-premiere for the second part of Boris Drenkov’s book, ‘Germany, My Love,’ on September 9. Drenkov, a scholar and author, will discuss his satirical memoirs and his experiences following the year 2000. The festival is organized by the Bulgarian Book Association with support from the Bulgarian ministries of culture and education.
