Sofia District Court rejects part of Diana Dimitrova's lawsuit against Raya Peeva

The Sofia District Court has rejected part of the legal charges brought by actress Diana Dimitrova against her colleague Raya Peeva. The dispute stems from incidents occurring during the filming of the television show ‘Hell’s Kitchen’.

Magistrates dismissed allegations regarding insults that were edited out of the broadcast, noting that such footage is difficult to prove or recover. However, other accusations remain part of the case, as they were broadcast on national television and included comments regarding Dimitrova’s mental state and other derogatory remarks.

The trial is scheduled to begin on December 3. Delays in the proceedings are attributed to the pending presentation of all case materials and the fact that Dimitrova has not yet secured legal representation, having written the initial complaint herself.
