Sofia Franklyn details friendship rift with Alex Cooper in upcoming memoir

In her forthcoming memoir, ‘Daddy Issues’, podcaster Sofia Franklyn details the breakdown of her friendship with former ‘Call Her Daddy’ co-host Alex Cooper. Franklyn describes a sense of betrayal following the discovery that Cooper received higher compensation during contract negotiations with Barstool Sports.

Franklyn alleges that while the two hosts had previously indicated they held the same agreement, a lawyer later confirmed that Cooper’s contract included more favorable financial terms. Franklyn expressed feelings of shock and ‘pure hatred’ upon learning of the discrepancy, questioning the authenticity of their friendship during the period the information was withheld.

The memoir, scheduled for release on November 10, 2026, will also cover Franklyn’s personal relationships and her history with her biological father and stepfather.
