Sofia Gonet details health risks of weight loss injections

Influencer Sofia Gonet, known as ‘La Reini’, has shared her experience regarding the severe side effects she suffered after using retatrutide, a substance intended for weight loss. Gonet stated she used the substance during an intense physical training period to accelerate results and control her appetite, describing her decision as an ‘attack of brute ignorance’ due to her lack of knowledge regarding its effects.

Following the administration, Gonet experienced dizziness, vomiting, tremors, and confusion. She reported a critical moment of distress while attempting to eat, stating she felt as though her body was failing and believed she might die. After seeking medical attention, doctors informed her that symptoms would subside as the substance left her system. However, the recovery process was prolonged; she reported a week of absolute nausea and an inability to eat, followed by a month without any food cravings, which has since altered her relationship with food.
