Sofia hosts MustArt Fest and Sofia Summer Fest in September

Sofia is hosting several cultural events in September 2026. The 5th edition of the MustArt Short Film & Music Fest will take place on September 16 and 17 at Hippodrome Park. The festival features a competition for original songs with performers including Violina Dotseva, Elia Georgieva, and several others. A jury composed of professionals such as MONA and Stefan Valdberev will evaluate the talent. The film selection includes short films up to 20 minutes, such as ‘Barkanı yaytsa’ by Daniel Varbanov.

Additionally, the Sofia Summer Fest concludes its season on September 13 with a charity concert supporting the ‘Together in an Hour’ foundation, which aims to provide quality education for all children in Bulgaria. The festival's September lineup includes tribute performances such as ‘The Beatles Legend’ on September 8 and ‘One Night of Adele’ on September 13. Other scheduled events include musical projects like ‘The Fox and the Cats’ and various comedy and film screenings.
