Sofia named world's top city for nightlife in global survey

A global survey conducted by Time Out and Intrepid Travel has identified the world's top cities for nightlife. The study utilized data from over 24,000 local residents who rated their cities on various factors, including cocktail bars, community feel, affordability, and street life, combined with expert assessments.

Sofia, Bulgaria, was named the best city in the world for clubbing, with 72 percent of local residents identifying nightlife as their city's strongest post-darkness activity. Medellin, Colombia, and Lima, Peru, followed in second and third place, respectively, both receiving 71 percent approval. Miami, USA, ranked fourth with 70 percent.

The top 10 list also includes Panama City, Liverpool, Bogota, Guadalajara, Newcastle, and Las Vegas. Notably, traditional nightlife hubs like Berlin did not appear in the top 20 rankings.
