Sofia Panizzi debuts in music with single “Diluvio”

Roman actress and singer Sofia Panizzi is making her musical debut with the single “Diluvio,” released on October 16. Panizzi, 28, has established a career in cinema, theater, and musicals, appearing in films such as “Te l’avevo detto” and “Finalmente l’alba,” and currently performing in the musical “Aggiungi un posto a tavola.”

The song “Diluvio” explores the concept of the multiple versions of the self—the persona shown to others, the ideal self, and the hidden self. It uses an emotional flood as a metaphor for the contradictions, fragility, and acceptance inherent in one's relationship with themselves.

An official music video directed by Salvatore De Chirico accompanies the release. The video utilizes variations in light, color, and texture to visually represent the shifting emotional landscapes and fragmented identities described in the track.
