Sofia prosecutors receive forensic reports in Petrohan Hut deaths case

The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office has received two major forensic reports regarding the deaths of six individuals near Petrohan Hut and Okolchitsa Peak.

A 157-page complex post-mortem expertise, prepared by four experts including psychologists, a psychiatrist, and a theologian, has been submitted. This report covers psychological, psychiatric, sexological, and theological aspects of the case.

Additionally, a second complex report involving eight specialists has been presented concerning the deaths of three individuals near Okolchitsa Peak. This expertise includes medical, ballistic, physicochemical, and technical findings.

A third complex expertise regarding the three individuals near Petrohan Hut is expected shortly. Prosecutors are currently reviewing these extensive findings alongside existing evidence, including crime scene inspections and dozens of witness testimonies. The investigation continues through regular coordination between prosecutors and the National Police Directorate.
