Sofia tram lines 11 and 12 face temporary route changes
The Sofia Municipality has announced temporary changes to tram lines 11 and 12 on October 17 and 18 due to track repairs on Rozhen Boulevard. The maintenance work, which involves leveling the tracks using a Plasser machine, will take place between 08:00 and 16:00, during which both tracks will be closed.
From 04:30 to 16:00 on both days, tram line 11 will operate on a shortened route from Knjazhevo to Vrabnitsa 1. Tram line 12 will run between Zhurnalist Square and Sofia North Station. Normal service for both lines is expected to resume after 16:00.
To assist passengers, a temporary bus line, 12TM, will operate between Sofia North Station and the Iliantsi district. Additionally, vehicle access to the southern connection of the Nadezhda Overpass will be restricted until October 30.
