Sofia Vergara responds to Joe Manganiello's memoir claims
Sofia Vergara has shared cryptic social media posts regarding “narcissistic” men following revelations made by her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello, in his upcoming memoir, “Bloodlines,” scheduled for release on October 13.
In excerpts from the book, Manganiello describes a marriage that became “devoid of any emotionality whatsoever” as he battled a severe autoimmune disease. He claims that Vergara refused to offer him affection, even when he pleaded for a hug during his medical struggles, and alleges she ridiculed his pet chihuahua during a period of mental health crisis.
Vergara responded by resharing an Instagram post from her son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, which compared the traits of “good men” with those of “narcissistic men.” The graphic characterized narcissists as manipulators and gaslighters who attempt to “paint you as the bad guy.” Vergara accompanied the post with clapping emojis. She also shared a separate post regarding the importance of being able to laugh at oneself, suggesting that an inability to do so is a sign of low intelligence.
