Sofia Voultepsi and Alexandros Kazamias clash during televised debate

During a televised debate on the program ‘Tora mazi’ on Open TV, Sofia Voultepsi, the Deputy Minister of Migration and Asylum, and Alexandros Kazamias of the ‘Plevsi Eleftherias’ party engaged in a heated verbal confrontation.

The argument escalated when the discussion turned to education issues, specifically regarding what was described as a ‘black hole’ in the education sector, as well as discussions concerning the Thessaloniki International Fair (DETh).

Voultepsi cited historical newspaper reports from 2003 to support her points, leading Kazamias to accuse her of misrepresenting his words. The exchange became highly tense, requiring intervention from the program hosts to manage the shouting between the participants.
