Sofitel Warsaw Victoria sold to DeSilva group

The Sofitel Warsaw Victoria, an iconic luxury hotel in Warsaw, has been sold to the DeSilva group. The transaction marks a change in ownership for the property after nearly 50 years.

DeSilva, one of Poland’s largest hotel owners, acquired the asset as part of a portfolio restructuring by Essendi, which is shifting its focus toward economy and midscale hotels in Europe. Despite the change in ownership, the hotel will continue to operate under the Sofitel brand and will remain under the management of Accor.
