Softengine acquires Vending-ERP from B. I. T. Soft
Softengine GmbH has announced the acquisition of the Vending-ERP solution from B. I. T. Soft GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bückeburg. This move aims to integrate specialized vending industry expertise into Softengine’s existing ERP ecosystem for small and medium-sized enterprises in the DACH region.
As part of the agreement, the B. I. T. Soft team will join Softengine, bringing their industry knowledge and ERP consulting expertise to the continued development of the software. The Vending-ERP solution is designed for vending operators to manage core processes such as logistics, replenishment, service, maintenance, billing, and finance. It is also adaptable for manufacturers, wholesalers, and service companies.
The acquisition comes amid significant shifts in the vending market, where operators face rising costs, increased competition, regulatory requirements, and labor shortages. The integration seeks to address challenges related to digital sovereignty, telemetry, cashless payment systems, and the fragmentation of IT landscapes.
