Sogamoso launches ‘Mi Casa Ahora’ housing subsidy program

The Sogamoso Mayor's Office, through the Secretariat of Habitat, has launched the first call for the ‘Mi Casa Ahora’ housing subsidy program. The initiative aims to facilitate access to dignified housing and improve living conditions for vulnerable families in the municipality.

The program offers two distinct lines of support: subsidies for the acquisition of new housing (specifically for VIS and VIP projects with valid construction licenses) and subsidies for home improvements. To qualify for new housing, applicants must belong to Sisbén groups A, B, or C, have resided in the municipality for at least five years, earn no more than four minimum monthly wages, and not currently own property in the country.

The home improvement modality covers structural and functional upgrades, such as the installation of roofs, floors, bathrooms, and kitchens, as well as structural reinforcements. The application period is scheduled to remain open until October 9, 2026.
