Sogang University launches full-tuition STEM track for international students

Sogang University Graduate School has launched the ‘SOGANG RISE SURPASS TRACK,’ a program designed to provide full tuition waivers for international graduate students in natural sciences and engineering fields.

The initiative combines two funding sources: a 50 percent scholarship from the Seoul ANCHOR Project and a 50 percent scholarship from the Sogang Global Scholarship. This project is part of a broader effort to attract international talent for advanced future industries, supported by the South Korean Ministry of Education and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Beyond tuition, the program offers additional support, including academic grants, research-publication incentives, Korean-language proficiency grants, and internship assistance. The university aims to help international students integrate into Korea’s academic and industrial environments to facilitate long-term career opportunities within the country.
