Soho Theatre to host Shakespeare parody HAM
The eco-comedy HAM, a parody of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, is set to open at London’s Soho Theatre from 29 September to 31 October 2026. Created by the theatre duo Hotter Project, the production follows a Gold-award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Performed by Mary Higgins and Ell Potter, the 60-minute show uses cabaret and clowning to explore environmental issues and the ethics of industrial farming. The production incorporates real-world environmental data and footage of floods and heatwaves to address the impact of dietary choices on the planet.
