Sokind releases first Italian-language album controluce

The musical project Sokind has released “controluce”, their first album written entirely in Italian. Moving away from their previous English-language releases, the project utilizes the Italian language to achieve greater lyrical precision.

While electronic music remains the foundation of the production, the style integrates more closely with traditional Italian songwriting. The tracks explore various themes, including human relationships, attraction, distance, solitude, identity, grief, and memory.

Although many songs are inspired by real-life experiences, particularly those of Massimiliano, the creative process involves significant modification. Through a collaborative effort between Massimiliano and Lorenzo, lyrics, production, and arrangements are continuously adjusted to ensure the songs function effectively as independent pieces of music rather than mere documentation of specific events.
