Sol de América advanced to the quarterfinals of the Copa Paraguay following a 4-0 victory over Sportivo 2 de Mayo at the Emiliano Ghezzi stadium. The goals for Sol de América were scored by Brahian Fernández, Marcos Gaona, Gustavo Marecos, and Fernando Leguizamón. During the match, Sportivo 2 de Mayo's Jorge Sanguina missed a penalty kick in the 59th minute.
