Dean responded on social media, posting on Threads that she was not intentionally isolating herself and questioning the perception of her behavior. She also addressed a fabricated TikTok screenshot that claimed she would skip the upcoming reunion, stating the comment was fake.

Dean indicated she has received an invitation to the reunion scheduled for August 31 and plans to attend, while continuing to defend her actions and call out fellow Islanders she described as “fake nice.”
