Sol Ruca discusses WWE recruitment and NXT injury

WWE wrestler Sol Ruca has revealed that the company recruited her after discovering her social media content. While living in Hawaii and working as a personal trainer, Ruca posted videos of herself performing flips and tricks on Instagram, which caught the attention of WWE scouts. Following a tryout, she signed with the company in 2022, progressed through the NXT brand, and was recently called up to the main roster.

Ruca also recounted a significant injury sustained during a Last Woman's Standing Match against Zaria in NXT. During the match, Ruca fell through a table and struck her head on another, resulting in a head wound that required medical attention. Despite the adrenaline of the moment, she realized the severity of the injury when she discovered her hand was covered in blood. The incident resulted in Ruca being sidelined for 20 days before she returned to compete on WWE Raw against IYO SKY.
