Triple H reassures WWE talent after SummerSlam, including Sol Ruca's title loss

Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque held an unannounced press conference in Minneapolis following WWE SummerSlam. He said top spots on the roster are earned, not given, and urged wrestlers to work harder to earn their positions. In the same briefing he spoke with Sol Ruca after she lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Raquel Rodriguez on the July 27 episode of Raw, telling her the change was not due to any fault on her part and encouraging her to stay a babyface and keep progressing. Ruca praised the support she received from the company and reflected on the challenges of moving from NXT to the main roster, noting that NXT allowed easier creative collaboration. Triple H also addressed Nick Aldis’s surprise performance against GUNTHER at SummerSlam, praising his work and leaving open the possibility of future in‑ring appearances. The remarks covered multiple talent concerns and set the tone for WWE’s post‑SummerSlam direction.
