Solana expands asset access with Dogecoin and Arbitrum integration

Several major digital assets, including Dogecoin (DOGE) and Arbitrum (ARB), have become available on the Solana blockchain through the Sunrise asset gateway. Sunrise, which is incubated by Wormhole Labs, utilizes the Native Token Transfers framework to bring these assets onto Solana in a standardized, “canonical” form.

For Dogecoin, the integration allows users to access Solana-based decentralized finance (DeFi) applications such as Jupiter, Raydium, and Kamino without manual bridging. Early trading volume for DOGE on Solana reportedly reached $19 million within 24 hours of going live.

Similarly, the Arbitrum governance token (ARB) is now tradable on Solana via Sunrise, making it accessible to various Solana ecosystem applications including Phantom, Backpack, and Solflare. This expansion aims to increase liquidity and accessibility for these assets across different blockchain networks.
