Solana posts first monthly gain in nine months as technical buy signal sparks optimism

Solana broke a nine‑month streak of monthly losses, closing the latest month in the green and adding roughly $14 billion to its market capitalization. The rally lifted the token about 38 % from its $60 low, with recent trading around $78 per SOL.

Technical analysis flagged the first SuperTrend buy signal since 2025, highlighting $84 as the key resistance level and a support zone between $73 and $77. Momentum indicators such as RSI, MACD and moving averages also turned bullish, prompting renewed confidence among traders.

On‑chain data shows heightened network activity, including more active wallet addresses, increased transaction volume, and growth in the real‑world asset (RWA) sector. Institutional interest remains, with U.S. asset managers filing spot Solana ETF applications, though none have been approved yet.
