Solana price faces pressure near $100 support level

Solana (SOL) is facing significant downward pressure as its price retreats toward the $100 psychological threshold. After reaching a recent high of approximately $124.95, the token has surrendered much of its recent gains, leaving traders to monitor key support levels.

Technical analysis indicates several critical zones for the asset. The $99 to $101 range is considered a vital area for buyers to defend, as it aligns with the 50-week simple moving average and recent lows. Further downside could see the price test the 200-day EMA near $97.59.

While short-term momentum remains bearish with declining RSI readings, some analysts suggest the asset is reacting to an important support area between $103 and $106. A recovery through the $112–$113 level could repair recent weekly damage, while a sustained break below $102–$103 might invalidate current bullish setups. The broader market context, including easing U.S. Treasury yields, may influence the recovery of risk assets like Solana.
