Bitcoin and Solana lead crypto market shifts amid RWA growth
The cryptocurrency market is experiencing significant shifts in both major assets and network utility. Bitcoin (BTC) has been trading around the $80,000 mark, navigating volatility driven by US employment data and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Despite bearish macro indicators, institutional interest remains high, with Bitcoin Spot ETFs recording substantial inflows, including a notable $174.6 million net inflow on September 5, 2026.
Simultaneously, the Solana network is seeing a massive expansion in its Real-World Asset (RWA) ecosystem. The total value of tokenized assets on Solana, including stablecoins, funds, equities, and commodities, has surpassed $18.5 billion. Specifically, the RWA segment has seen rapid growth, with tokenized equities on the network surging to over $725 million. Solana has recently led other blockchains in RWA net inflows, capturing $348 million over a 30-day period.
Solana's price has also shown resilience, reclaiming the $100 support level amid increased network activity. While technical indicators suggest a period of consolidation or potential caution due to high RSI levels, the network's ability to process high-frequency financial settlements at low costs continues to drive adoption of tokenized products from major issuers like BlackRock, Circle, and Tesla.
