Solana price recovers ahead of Transaction V1 mainnet launch
Solana (SOL) has seen a price recovery, trading near $105–$106 following a 3.1% daily increase. This rebound occurs alongside rising trading volumes, which have reached approximately $3.64 billion, exceeding the 30-day average.
A significant technical driver is the upcoming mainnet launch of Transaction V1 on September 9. This upgrade will expand Solana’s maximum serialized transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes, providing developers with roughly 3.3 times more transaction space. The increased capacity is designed to support advanced workloads, including ZK proofs, BLS signatures, large multisig setups, and confidential transfers.
While the asset has shown strong momentum—trading above its 7-day, 15-day, 30-day, and 200-day moving averages—it remains significantly below its historical high. Technical analysis indicates liquidity clusters forming between $115 and $120, with larger pools identified near the $145–$150 range.
