Solana breaks $100 as ETF inflows hit $1.22 billion

Solana (SOL) has experienced a significant market resurgence, breaking through the psychological $100 resistance level. This rally is supported by record-breaking institutional interest, with US-based spot Solana ETFs recording cumulative net inflows exceeding $1.22 billion. The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) has been a primary driver, accounting for approximately 80% of the total capital inflows into Solana ETFs.

On-chain activity has also reached new heights. In July, the Solana network processed 4.2 billion transactions, representing a 13.5% monthly increase. Additionally, the cumulative trading volume for Solana-based perpetual futures platforms has surpassed $1 trillion, driven largely by platforms such as Jupiter Perps and Drift Protocol.

Technical analysts note that while the breakout above $100 signals strong bullish momentum, the asset faces potential resistance in the $110–$125 range. Network upgrades, including the Agave 4.2 release and upcoming consensus improvements aimed at reducing finality times, are expected to further enhance throughput and capacity.
