Solange Omon named new Victoria's Secret Angel
Solange Omon, a 21-year-old model of Cameroonian descent, has been named the newest Victoria's Secret Angel after winning the reality program ‘Angels Among Us 2026’. Omon emerged victorious from a pool of over 100,000 applicants and thousands of live casting participants across US cities including Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, and Chicago.
Omon secured her position by defeating finalists Andreína Martínez, the 2022 Miss Universe 2nd runner-up, and American model Tatyana Tinsley. As part of her win, she has earned an exclusive management contract with IMG Models.
During the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2026 held at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, Omon performed wearing yellow wings with flowing fabric. Despite the milestone, her debut has drawn mixed reactions from audiences. Some viewers on platforms such as Vogue expressed disappointment, describing her runway performance as underwhelming or questioning the selection choice in comparison to other models like Anok Yai.
