Solar Coca-Cola launches educational program for employees' dependents

Solar Coca-Cola, the manufacturer of the Coca-Cola system in 70% of Brazil, has launched the 'Educa Solar Gerações' initiative. In partnership with Unico Skill, the program extends educational benefits to the legal dependents of the company's employees.

The program provides unlimited access to over 5,000 courses through more than 100 Brazilian and international institutions, including PUC-PR, PUC-RS, Mackenzie, Ibmec, Estácio, CNA, and Coursera. The initiative specifically targets 200 young people aged 17 to 22 in the states of Amazonas, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Alagoas, and Rio Grande do Norte.

This move addresses a significant social challenge in Brazil, where approximately 6.2 million youths aged 14 to 24 are neither working nor studying, representing 18.7% of that age demographic according to data from the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
