Solar energy companies expand storage solutions at regional exhibitions

Solar and energy storage companies are expanding their presence and technical offerings at major regional exhibitions.

At All Energy Australia 2026, SOFAR Solar is showcasing an expanded portfolio of residential and commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions. The company is introducing the CBS5000 battery to the Australian market, a modular system designed for residential and small C&I use. For larger commercial applications, SOFAR is unveiling a configuration that combines the HYD-99-166K-T1 inverter with the CBS8000 battery system, which offers a capacity of 193-257 kWh.

In Malaysia, Suntech participated in the Solar Energy Storage Future 2026 event, where the company received a Renewable Energy Collaboration Award. During the event, Suntech leadership emphasized the importance of manufacturer bankability when evaluating long-term equipment warranties. Key factors for developers include a manufacturer’s financial capability, track record, reliability, technology, and the availability of local support to complement global operations.
