Solar manufacturers Vikram Solar and JinkoSolar earn top sustainability and bankability ratings

Vikram Solar Limited, an Indian solar‑PV module maker, received the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for 2026, placing the company in the top 1 % of firms worldwide with an overall score of 88 / 100. The rating reflects improvements across environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, as well as new certifications such as ISO 50001:2018 and a first annual sustainability report.

JinkoSolar, a Chinese photovoltaic leader, was awarded the highest “AAA” bankability rating by PV Tech for Q2 2026. The company’s twelve‑year streak of A‑grade ratings is underpinned by record‑setting N‑type technology, more than 5,700 global patents and high‑efficiency products such as the Tiger Neo 3.0 module, which exceeds recent energy‑efficiency standards.

Both recognitions highlight the firms’ strong sustainability practices and financial credibility, reinforcing their positions in the global solar market.
