Suntech Opens Frankfurt Service Center as FranklinWH Plans European Battery Rollout

Chinese solar manufacturer Suntech inaugurated a new Solar & Storage Service Center in Frankfurt, Germany. The facility will provide product demonstration, technical support, project coordination, training and partner collaboration for Suntech’s European operations, enhancing localized after‑sales service and warehousing as Europe’s demand for distributed solar and storage grows.

U.S. energy‑storage firm FranklinWH announced its intention to bring an all‑in‑one home‑battery system to Europe by 2027. The platform integrates residential storage, photovoltaics, electric‑vehicle charging and energy‑management software, scaling from 15 kWh to 225 kWh. FranklinWH plans to build a European partner network using its existing global installer base, drawing on experience from more than 25 virtual power‑plant programs in the United States.
