Solar storage technology expands with new plug-and-play battery solutions
The market for plug-and-play solar storage batteries is expanding, offering domestic solutions that do not require professional electrical installation. These systems allow users to store excess solar energy produced during the day for use during peak evening hours.
Ecoflow has released the Stream Ultra X, a battery with a 3.84 kWh capacity designed for balcony or small home solar setups. The unit features four solar inputs, each managed by an independent 500 W MPPT controller, allowing for a total solar input of up to 2000 W.
Zendure is also active in the sector with its SolarFlow range. The company is currently offering promotions on its products, including the SolarFlow 2400 Pro, which supports up to 3000 W of photovoltaic input via four 750 W MPPT controllers. Additionally, the SolarFlow 2400 AC+ provides an AC-coupled solution that can be integrated behind existing inverters without modifying current panel installations.
