Solarpunk guide shows how to obtain wheat for upgrades and farms

In the game Solarpisk, wheat is essential for research upgrades and animal farming. Players must first upgrade their airship to level 2 by trading specific items with Tradebots – typically 14 watermelons, 12 cotton, 20 beeswax and 32 copper. Once the airship is upgraded, two nearby islands become reachable, each containing wheat nodes and wheat seeds.

Collected wheat is used to fulfill trade contracts, craft bread (requiring dough made from three wheat each), and produce animal feed for chickens, which in turn supply eggs. Additional upgrades, such as the Seedspack, allow players to convert produce into seeds for a self‑sustaining farm. Gathering quartz for silicon production also unlocks advanced items like batteries and energy furnaces, further supporting wheat‑related trades.
