Solarpunk open‑world survival game announced for June 8 release

German indie studio Cyberwave announced the upcoming open‑world survival game Solarpunk, set to launch on 8 June 2026. A trailer released on 9 April showcased the game’s floating‑island setting, friendly aesthetic and crafting‑focused gameplay, allowing solo or co‑op exploration with airships. Cyberwave confirmed the title will be available for PC on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG, while console versions for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Switch will be handled by Vienna‑based Mi’pu’mi Games.

The game emphasizes relaxed survival mechanics, with players building structures, farming food and manufacturing equipment across a sky‑bound archipelago.
