Soldebre Cooperative wins bronze medal in Greece for Aureum olive oil

Ximo Valldeperez, manager of the Soldebre Cooperative from Tortosa, has received a bronze medal in Jesús for the Aureum olive oil. The award was earned at the Athena International Olive Oil Competition in Athens, Greece.

Aureum is an extra virgin olive oil of the Sevilliana variety, produced under the Baix Ebre i Montsià Protected Designation of Origin (DOP). It is noted for its intense green fruitiness and a balance of bitterness, pungency, and sweetness. This international recognition follows the oil's success at the 42nd Jesús Olive Oil Fair, where it won top prizes in both the tasting and gastronomic competitions.

The award ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Jesús, Víctor Ferrando, and the president of the Jesús Olive Oil Fair, José Ramón Vallés. Local officials noted that this achievement serves as an international showcase for the quality of olive oil production in the Ebre region.
