Soledad de Graciano Sánchez advances infrastructure and transport projects

The municipality of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez is undergoing several infrastructure and service developments. Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz reported that urban transformation works in Privada Negrete have reached over 90 percent completion, including the installation of hydraulic concrete, water, and drainage networks.

In terms of mobility, a third free MetroRed transport route is scheduled to begin operations in September. This line will connect the Alameda Central with rural communities such as Rancho Nuevo and Enrique Estrada, providing accessible transit for local families.

Regarding water services, Mayor Navarro Muñiz highlighted the construction of new storm collectors and a deep well in the Buenaventura subdivision to serve 30,000 homes. However, San Luis Potosí Mayor Enrique Galindo Ceballos addressed ongoing water supply conflicts in Soledad, noting that while legal injunctions require the water operator, Interapas, to address specific shortages, he maintains that the municipality possesses sufficient water resources and that issues are often exacerbated by political interests.
